70 million years of wind and water sculpting has created two of the world’s natural wonders in this vacation paradise….Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. Visitors experience towering sandstone cliffs, overhanging rock ledges, graceful waterfalls, a rich diversity of endangered plant and wildlife habitats, stately hemlocks and thickets of rhododendron, significant archaeological sites, hiking trails and arches that attract hikers and rock climbers from around the world. Named one the nation’s TOP 15 most scenic drives by Life Publications, Kentucky’s Rockies is a unique natural wonder created by the powers of wind and water.
