Outdoor adventure lovers will marvel at the world class rock climbing opportunities that exist in the Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge areas.

This rock climber's paradise offers an amazing 700 miles of towering sand stone cliff lines.The area has beckoned visitors from around the world to experience some of the most amazing climbing experiences available anywhere.

Red River Gorge Geological Area

The Red River Gorge Geological Area, a National Natural Landmark, is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest of eastern Kentucky. The Gorge is managed by the USDA Forest Service for year-round public use, enjoyment, and safety; and to protect its watershed, wildlife, cultural resources, spectacular geological features, and primitive character.

Torrent Falls Climbing Adventure

Torrent Falls Climbing Adventure seeks to introduce people to the sport of rock climbing in a fun and easy experience. Located 5 miles from Natural Bridge State Park,the Climbing Adventure consists of iron hand and foot rungs to aid climbers as they scale rock faces while attached to a cable system. The Climbing Adventure is great for families, individuals, and large groups. No matter the experience, the Climbing Adventure has something for everyone with its different levels of difficulty. For more experienced climbers or beginners that want to gain more experience, Torrent Falls also offers Guided Rock Climbing and Guided Rappelling.
